Created by frustrated performing arts students: Anon is a service that brings together amateur directors, writers, producers, actors and more! Our main goal is to make theatre and film an accessible industry to break into.

Let's face it, everyone has had the dream of being in the credits of the next biggest marvel film whether it's in the makeup, costume or starring in it. The problem is that no one will hire people with no experience but it's impossible to get experience without paying large sums of money or knowing someone who can open the door to casting calls and projects.

We want to change that.

73% of all actors come from middle class or higher class backgrounds despite that secor only contributing 29% of the whole population. 42% of BAFTA winning actors come from fee paying schools. As well as this Backstage costs £150 a year, Star Now costs £83.88 a year and spotlight costs £106 a year for young people (up to 24) or £162 per year for adults. This adds a glass ceiling in the film and theatre job market which is unacceptable and quite frankly, wrong

Anon brings together people in your community who are interested in creating a piece of theatre or film. Using free or low cost shooting areas and rehearsal spaces, we try to keep costs low and at a rate that are able to be fundraised.
